Make an Impact

I think it's about time that we all started doing our part to better the world.  We only live here for so long before our time is up and our impact is made.  A goal of mine is to make an impact on the world that will last after I'm gone.  To make an impact we must see someone else that made a significant impact, and just to be fair there are people like; Jesus Christ, Mother Theresa, Ghandi, Mandella, then we have the bad ones, Hitler, Stalin, Judas.

At school it is so easy to be something you're not, our ultimate goal is to fit in to what we see as in style, in fashion, and almost in our reach.  Why can we not be satisfied with who we are, is it innate human nature to be better or is it a innate superhuman characteristic we have.  Either way in order to be better we must sacrifice our old selves in order to become what we see as better.  I heard a quote that said in order for us to become something, we need an example, and a perfect one would do.  So instead of trying to be like the "cool kids", we should be dedicating ourselves to following the perfect example we know to be true.

Spiritual Sunday

It's a funny thing how humans work together.  We all know that heavy hands make light work.  It's really a fundamental principle to life.  We need each other through this life and the next.  When we humble ourselves to service from others we gain a lot more than the materialistic things that were given.  A humble meek person is a lot easier to give to than someone with a cold heart, that doesn't see the goodness service brings.  Why can't people let themselves be helped?  How hard is it?  To be honest it is hard to let others help us.  Knowing from personal experience and experiences around me, to humble yourself to the service of others takes a lot of guts.  And that doesn't mean all of the sudden you are a lazy person, or a joke, it means people care about you.  When we recognize the love others have for us we can put that love everywhere else in our life.  So please let others help you when you have a hard time, or when they just want to love you.

Haircuts

I love a good cheap haircut as much as the next guy, in fact I got a haircut just yesterday and it was only three dollars!  But the problem with a deal like that is the problem of it only being three dollars.  There is always an underlying reason why, know what I'm saying.  So yesterday I got my haircut at a hair school called Evan's hair school.  Before I got it cut I had made an appointment with a lady I knew could cut my hair, and I was very excited for it, but when I got there it was too good to be true.  A lady came out named Heather, and I'm sorry if you're reading this Heather, but you should change your goals from being a hair whateverer, to something more suited to your skills.  I thought I was being very specific with the way I explained I wanted my haircut, so after I told her she just went to town.  She was very good at talking to me about what I like, and things I like to do.  We got done with my haircut and it looked like I had just joined a gang or something, I mean it was so bad I was going to say something, but that's not the kind of person I am, so being me, I kindly thanked her and walked out of the store.  Now I will be wearing a hat to school until my hair grows back.  Might I add that that night I said a prayer that my hair would grow back faster than normal, I am now afraid of what people might think that have never met me.  When they see my hair, what will they think, I mean I looked in the mirror and I couldn't recognize myself. That's how it all went down haha.  Please comment on this story and tell me you're own if you want!

Introduction

Sometimes you just want to hear a voice calling back for a change instead of yelling down an echoing tunnel.  It's nice to know we can be heard, I don't know how this will go, so let's see.
